Short Bio:

Dr. Barbara calls herself a ‘PEACAVIST’ and focuses on what peace is, what it does, how it work and how to use it.  A great gift is she sees POSSIBILITY & gets GREAT IDEAS wherever she goes. As an entrepreneur, she emerged as a leader by owning domestic and international consulting companies, consistently serving the community, and breaking new ground. As owner of YES Productions, and LEGER Internationale, she co-founded, served and consulted for several California non-profits in media, youth services, citizen diplomacy, economic development, global trade. .

Arriving in Ukraine on 9/11/2001, for 19 years, she served adults exploring a mindset of peace, purpose and possibility. In 2020 she created Golden Path of Peace, CA 501c3, and her focus shifted to public schools in Ukraine responding to this open moment,  contributing to the NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL movement. In a joint venture with a Ukraine NGO, ‘The Understanding PEACE Project./UPP’  supported 14,110 students, 386 teachers and 302 schools, unpacking peace, discovering their own perceptions, developing amazing new skills and relationships in the classroom that are creating respectful, mutually valuable new patterns.
