Rinor Jani, Pathways To Peace Youth Representative to the UN, and Program Coordinator for Nuclear Disarmament Advocacy and Research is pleased to present the Balkan Forum on Nuclear Disarmament that took place on August 25th in Tirana, Albania.
With the ongoing war in Ukraine and the lack of substantive action from nuclear-armed states, it is critical for regional governments and civil society to take collective action. This conference focuses on nuclear disarmament the Balkan region, the Treaty on the Prohibition on Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), and the humanitarian impact of nuclear weapons.
