This 90-minute plenary, with interactive Q&A, invites leaders in the field of indigenous wisdom, integrative health and nature communication, Anita Sanchez, Zach Bush, Atossa Soltani & Danielea Castell to respond to the following questions:

  • What would be your optimal local-to-global strategy for ensuring the guaranteed access of all humans and animals to FRESH CLEAN AIR?
  • What are the whole system healing benefits of such a strategy?
  • How can we move forward to make this a global reality?

Biographies of the Speakers

Dr. Anita Sanchez, Nahua (Aztec) and Mexican American, is a consultant, trainer, speaker to Fortune 500 companies, education and non-profit organizations. Anita bridges indigenous wisdom and science for individual to societal renewal focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural transformation. Board member of the Pachamama Alliance and Bioneers and member of the Evolutionary Leaders. Other recent awards include 2020 Conscious Company Media “World Changing Woman” and 2020 World Woman’s Foundation “Woman of the Hour” #SheisMyHero campaign to inspire 1 million girls to live their dreams and leadership. Anita leads an annual Pachamama Alliance journey into the sacred headwaters of the Amazon each year.

Zach Bush, MD is a physician specializing in internal medicine, endocrinology and hospice care. He is an internationallyrecognized educator and thought leader on the microbiome as it relates to health, disease, and food systems. Zach Bush, MD founded *Seraphic Group and the non-profit Farmer’s Footprint to develop root-cause solutions for human and ecological health. His passion for education reaches across many disciplines, including topics such as the role of soil and water ecosystems in human genomics, immunity, and gut/brain health. His education has highlighted the need for a radical departure from chemical farming and pharmacy, and his ongoing efforts are providing a path for consumers, farmers, and mega-industries to work together for a healthy future for people and planet.  His work in for-profit and nonprofit arenas is creating avenues for collaborative action for all stakeholders in our global community for a regenerative future of health for the planet and our children.


Atossa Soltani is the director of global strategy for the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Initiative, an alliance of 30 indigenous nations in Ecuador and Peru working to permanently protect 86 million acres of rainforests in one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on Earth. She is also the founder and board president of Amazon Watch and served as the organization’s first executive director for 18 years. In response to the Amazon fires in 2019, Atossa helped co-found Artists for Amazonia to catalyze global action for the Amazon. In recognition for her life’s work as rainforests and indigenous rights campaigner, Atossa was named the Hillary Institute’s 2013 Global Laureate for Climate Leadership. Atossa is also a member and contributing author to the Science Panel for the Amazon.


Danielea Castell is a Nature communicator, ambassador, and sound weaver who has been building family relations with Water, Rock and Tree Elders for the past 14 years. She is the host of The Listening Field, an online space where Humans and Nature Elders can consult with each other from anywhere in the world.

Danielea believes that Peace and Unity with Mother Earth and all Nature relatives is essential to creating a new planetary reality.

For Peace Week danielea is hosting several different sessions with Humans and Nature Elders including the global Gratitude Ceremony on Sep 24th and the Intro to the Global Tree Elder Movement (GTEM) on Sep 20, both with Sioux Elder Ejna Jean Fleury.
